19.07.2023 -  Yesterday, not all runners had the chance to start on Vorab due to the thunderstorm. Some people were also stuck in gondolas during the thunderstorm or were directly affected by the hailstorm in the field towards the end of their competition or on the way back which we sincerely and explicitly regret. 

The technical test on the Arena Express from Flims to Plaun was carried out this morning. The check was successful, and the railway is operating now. The storm damage in the other training and competition areas were also assessed. We are pleased to announce that the Swiss O Week can continue tomorrow, Thursday, according to the program. Today’s “Nostalgia Orienteering can be held, and the SOW trainings are also open except the training course “Foppa”, which had to be closed due to storm damages in the forest. 

The SOW Information in the event centre is also open today from 09:00 to 10:00 to be able to pick up the competition maps from the third stage. Of course, they can also be collected at a later time during the opening hours of the Information.
