The competition area of the third stage is around the competition centre. It consists for the most part of a flat rocky landscape and to a lesser extent of a ruderal area with scattered pastures. It certainly has some snowfields in the running area (see map symbols). However, the rock fields cause major challenges: countless small depressions and ledges that are very similar require high concentration. Don’t be misled by the various water courses and -areas, there are too many. There are only a few paths and other clues are rare. The finish is directly in the competition centre.

The most important in brief:

• First ascent: 06:45 from Flims Dorf, mountain railway
• First ascent: 07:00 from Laax Murschetg
• Bikes are not transported with the mountain railroads
• First start: 09:00, distances to the starts 5 minutes
• Public car parking: Stenna parking, Flims Dorf or rocksresort parking, Laax Murschetg
• Bicycle parking: near the valley station of the mountain railways
• No strollers nor bikes will be transported.
• Award ceremony: 19:00 in the SOW Event Centre, Flims Dorf
• Take along sun protection and warm clothes!

Please notice: Transport capacities are tight on the third stage. We therefore urge all runners to follow the following rules:

• You have to follow the timetable instructions in the programme book !
• Be on the journey in good time: 90 minutes before the start at Crap Sogn Gion at the latest.
• Runner with flying startlist (start 3 Flims Laax) are recomended to come early tp prevent queueing.
• Wear the start number clearly visible.
• Runners with a fixed start time have priority over those with freely selectable start times.
• Runners will be allocated to the gondola Crap Sogn Gion - Crap Masegn by the volounteers.
• We will fill the gondola to the maximum; it will therefore be tight.
• Place backpacks and bags between your feet in the gondola.
• Late runners report to the volounteers at the ramp of the station to Crap Masegn.
• Waiting times must be expected.
