03.06.2026 - By the closing date for entries in the competitive categories, 2'582 people had registered to take part in the orienteering festival, which is due to take place in the Dents du Midi region in a few weeks' time.
We are delighted that so many runners are eager to explore this part of Switzerland, which lies on the border with Haute-Savoie, France. Around 50% of participants are Swiss. The largest groups of visitors are coming from Finland, France, the Czech Republic and Norway. In total, our guests are travelling from 36 different countries. It is in the Challenge Middle category, which boasts no fewer than 114 entrants, that today’s victory will be the hardest to secure.
