24.04.2026 - Apprentices studying IT and commercial administration at Identitas Ltd. in Bern have, as part of their training, implemented several IT projects that address the specific needs of Swiss O Week.

Swiss O Week has received valuable support from the business community. Various IT issues have been resolved by apprentices at Identitas Ltd. This collaboration came about following a request from Christian Beglinger, the CEO of Identitas Ltd and an H60 runner for OLG Murten. From the initial analysis to implementation, these future professionals supported the entire project. They identified customer needs, developed suitable solutions, and prepared for their deployment. The result is a range of useful tools, such as those for volunteer deployment planning and the Swiss O Week mobile app.

“The apprentices take on real responsibility. They experience how a customer request is turned into a functioning tool,' says Jaqueline Balli, HR manager at Identitas Ltd.

The crowning glory is the apprentices’ on-site deployment: During Swiss O Week 2026 in Morgins, they will see their solutions in action for the first time, support the organisers, and receive direct feedback.

This project has provided Swiss O Week with tailor-made, cost-effective IT solutions, while the apprentices have gained valuable practical experience – a model that could set a precedent.
