Participation in an orienteering competition in France is no longer
subject to the presentation of a medical certificate confirming
fulfilment of the medical requirements.
However, in order to participate in Swiss O Week 2026, which
includes stages in France, one of the following two conditions must
be met:
• To hold an annual licence from the French Orienteering Federation OR a French UNSS licence (Union Nationale du Sport Scolaire). Other sports licences are not accepted.
• Non-licensed participants must confirm that they have read the French Orienteering Federation's health questionnaire and the 10 golden rules of the French Association of Sports Cardiologists. This questionnaire is integrated into the registration process.
