For the first time, there will be a 5 day beginners course in orienteering for children aged around 7 to 10. Adult beginners are also welcome. The course lasts daily about 1 hour and is organised from stage 2 to stage 6. The course package costs CHF 30.00 and includes the necessary orienteering maps, rental SI cards and rental compasses.

• Control locations and symbols
• Orienteering rules
• Simple training and competition formats

The registration for the introductory course is done in the Swiss O Week registration portal. The combination of Kids O Week and introductory course is possible. Registration deadline is 31 May 2023. At the check-in you may choose for each day the course time: early, middle or late.
